Sofika has been a guest lecturer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History and the National Arts Club in New York City, the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington, DC, as well as museums in major cities of her ancestral homeland. Sofika discusses the history, symbolism, myth and legends of this unique art form, tracing its roots from paganism to Christianity to the present. The visual component of her presentations may include a slide-show, a display of her pysanky and a demonstration of the creative process. Her audiences range in size from 10-300 and have included adults as well as children.

Sofika's television appearances include: WNBC's "Good Morning Today in NY", WABC's Eyewitness News, Washington D.C.'s "Capitol Edition" and a Japanese documentary highlighting her work.
